a note from a dreamer, a creative, and a mom—
I’ve always been someone who loves to romanticize life. Fresh flowers on the table. A candle burning in the background. A well-plated dinner, even if (and sometimes especially if) it came from a box. I blame the Nancy Meyers and Joanna Gaines’ of the world… or maybe I just watched too much TV growing up.

I’m a wife and a mom, two titles that mean more than anything to me, but alongside them has always lived a quiet, persistent pull to create. Over the years, that creativity has taken many forms: hand-lettered prints and calligraphy, painting, thrifting and refinishing furniture, graphic design, and always, always, cooking for myself and for others.

As life grew fuller and seasons shifted, my hands moved from paper to iPad, from handmade pieces to digital designs that allow me to keep creating in a way that fits this season of motherhood. Today, Louella Paper Co. is home to digital invitation templates, simple illustrations, and thoughtfully curated finds for celebrating and savoring everyday life.

At its heart, Louella Paper Co. is about slowing down. About noticing the small moments. About creating beauty, whether through paper goods, a thoughtfully set table, or the little details that make a house feel like home.

Some of my best memories of laughter and love happened in the corner house on Louella Street: my grandparents’ home. It was a place of encouragement, creativity, home-cooked meals, books, movies, and handwritten notes that told me my ideas mattered. That house made you feel warmer inside. You could breathe deeper there. You could rest longer.

It’s a creative vessel and a lifestyle, one rooted in thoughtful design, intentional living, and the belief that beauty doesn’t have to be complicated or perfect to be meaningful.
